We have been providing a culturally safe and culturally enriched curriculum for almost 40 years. Qualifications
  • Develop and implement a high-quality early childhood program that aligns with the center's philosophy and meets the developmental needs of children.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of educators, fostering a positive work culture and promoting professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and regulations governing early childhood education and care.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and families, fostering strong partnerships and addressing any concerns or queries.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor the effectiveness of the program and make improvements as needed.
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children and staff.
  • Stay updated with current research, trends and best practices in early childhood education, incorporating innovative approaches into the center's program.
  • Liaise with the service Director and Committee for best practice and outcomes.
  • Provide children with a culturally safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Participate in personal and professional development.

  • Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, Early Years Developmental Milestones.
  • Current approved Frst Aid/CPR Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training.

  • A passion for teaching, professional development, and collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Knowledge in planning, programming, and observing children’s developmental growth.
  • Ability to think strategically, solve problems, and make informed decisions.Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
